This hardly-seen 1970 cult classic stars Robert Redford, Michael J. Pollard, and Lauren Hutton. Written by Charles Eastman whom Robert Towne cited as an early influence on his own work. Charles Eastman was also the director of All American Boy starring John Voigt, his only directorial credit. What the leading actor Redford said of the script of Little Fauss and Big Halsy, "That was the best screenplay of any film I've ever done, in my opinion. It was without a doubt the most interesting, the funniest, the saddest, the most real and original."
