The album by pianist/composer Marihiko Hara is a collective of improvised piano takes and field recordings devised by the composer's own 'habit' of processing and editing raw phases to explore electroacoustic and textural sounds to blend in harmony. Habit is what the composer describes as a scenery mirrored on the surface of water, or perhaps himself lying underneath. Marihiko Hara is a composer residing in Kyoto, Japan. Graduated from the Department of Education, Kyoto University. His main interest is to compose serene silence in music and to pursue his own texture of sounds through electric/acoustic variations and field recordings. This album is pressed as a limited edition of 200.
